What is the alcohol content of Carex hand sanitiser gels?
Health experts including NHS, Public Health England and World Health Organisation all agree that to be effective a hand sanitiser needs at least 60% alcohol content. The good news is all our Carex hand sanitiser gels contain 70% or more alcohol, including the range of Fun Editions variants. And although we cannot test out efficacy against Covid-19, we have tested Carex Hand Sanitiser Gel’s effectiveness against other Coronaviruses strain to confirm its effectiveness. Remember to wash your hands thoroughly, for at least 20seconds, with soap and hot water. To pat them dry with a clean paper towel. It is also important to ensure that meat and eggs are thoroughly cooked and to avoid unprotected contact with live wild, or farm animals.
